   THE VIRTUAL CHOIRS
   www.youtube.com/user/STJ500virtualchoirs

Our joyful celebration of the gift of St. Teresa of Avila, a remarkable woman, to the people of the world has begun and will continue throughout the next year.  Be part of a once-in-a-lifetime, worldwide celebration uniting spirituality, technology and creativity -- all in honor of our Holy Mother, Saint Teresa.  It is a real family celebration, to which we are inviting the whole world.
Our three-day program,  held August 21-23, focused on the many ways in which her creative spiritual genius finds expression today through her sons and daughters, brothers and sisters.  Video footage of each of the presentations will soon be available on YouTube.  The program featured:
  • A banquet and special Eucharistic celebration by Bishop Daly in the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Joseph
  • Presentations by each branch of the Discalced Carmelite Order:  Nuns, Friars, Seculars, and Affiliates
  • World-renowned guest speakers, including Sister Regina Marie, OCD, and Sister Christine Morel, OCD, who came to us all the way from France
  • Three world premiers:  Dolora Zajick's "The Roads to Zion", and two virtual choirs
  • A concert which featured such world-class performers as Dolora Zajick, and Heidi Lehwalder
  • A Poet's Corner with poetry submitted from throughout the world
and much, much more, with additional performers and presenters from various branches of the family. See  our program of events and presentations made.
